Did a search and came up empty handed this is the only thread I found remotely close to my problem.
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49258&highlight=stuttering+low+rpm
My problem:
It happened last night [3/29/05] for the first time and then tonight again. I was cruising arond normallly and then all of a sudden at a light the car would not revv above 1500 rpm. I kept giving it gas and It would bounce between 1500 and 1000 rpm. Eventually it would break 1500 rpm and revv as high as I wanted it to but then it would go back to doing the same thing with the stuttering at low rpm and not not going above 1500. Well last night it did this so I stopped look around in the engine bay and checked If any of my couplings had came off and nothing. Got back into my car started it and it drove fine. Fast forward to today with no problems at all driving all day. Then suddenly after coming home from dinner my car does it again but this time worse. I stop look around the engine bay and see nothing abnormal so I get back into the car hoping it would go away again and it did not. Same thing, every once in a while it would run right but 75% of the time the car was stuttering and not revving above 1500 rpm.
I checked my data logger and everything seemed normal but the INJP, it reads 1.79ms and then when I gave the car throttle it would read zero. When I could get the car to rev properly the numbers on the INJP would raise properly. Does this have anything to do with my problem?
Also my ISC motor on the data logger reads 0 at idle and doesnt have a reading until about 3k rpm and then it would read about 3.9 I believe. If there is anything you feel I left out please feel free to ask I need help ASAP as I have to drive to work in the morning...
*edit*
I also checked my ECU and all AFC connections and they are good. My ecu had the caps replaced not to long ago but I checked again anyways and they are still good.
And I just went out side to check the engine bay wiring harness and it all looks good from what i can see. I started the car again and the problem has went away and the car drives and revvs normally again? What would cause this?
