Ugh cant seem to figure out why

ok heres the deal on my 1st gen talon ts fwd i cant seem to figure out why it wont rev past 3 grand. But my best guss would be my mass airflow sensore because it idled better when i unplugged it. it idles really rough

check the tps and coolant temp sensor, also make sure the ISC screw didnt pop out.

Sparking plugs, and/or sparking plug wires.

If your plugs aren't NGK BPR6ES, throw yours away and replace them. Gap to .028"

Well I replaced the mas air flow sensor that did not seem to fix my problem. I belive it may have been when i pulled the mas plug when the car was running and it immiedly through a code. Could that cause it to not rev past 3 grand.

That'll teach you to buy part's off a guess. Find out exactly waht the problem is before buying parts.

It's possible I suppose, but I've never heard of it. Disconnect all battery cables. Hold the positive cable to the negative cable for about 10 seconds (without either of them connected to the battery!). This will drain the capacitors, clearing the code.

My 2G wouldn't rev past 4 grand. I replaced my vehicle speed sensor and that fixed it.
