Well my o'reilys alternator is going out, even though it's brand new.

My tt reads 11.2 volts on start up. When I rev it up to about 4 it'll sputter like the engine is eating something.

It goes away when my car reads normal voltage, anyone know why?

Here's what might cause it:

Vented BOV
Voltage regulator in alternator dying
I did cut the wires to the 02 sensor and splice them back together, Though there were 2 black wires I didn't know which went to which so will that be it?

No matter what the problem is, you should be recirculating the bov. Why aren't you now?

Edit: And please fill out your profile completely if you have mods.

Hmm, I did replace the cable from the Alternator fuse to the battery with a thicker gauge. I wouldn't see how a new cable from the alternator to the fuse would hurt any. Alternator only has one cable going to it right?

it is most likely your bov. you should always run recirculating i had the exact same problem. i changed from open atmosphere to recirc and bam its fixed :)
