Car sounds supercharged...major problem please help

my car has a loud whine when under boost almost like my car is supercharged and its not pulling like it should its almost bogging in a sense...so i turned the boost dont all the way on my mbc and my stock gauge is spiking 14psi hard when my after market boost gauge is only showing 2 psi when i start on the throttle but if i floor the gas pedal my turbo whines louder and my boost gauge(aftermarket) is showing 7 psi and im burning gas like its nobodys business...i need help whats wrong??

sounds like a dying turbo to me take off your intake pipe and check for in and out and side to side shaft play

did that seems fine...turbo actually pulls when i hit WOT

sounds to me like you have a boost leak making you bog from the extra fuel you are getting. Mine use to have a supercharger sound too, problem was where the intercooler pipe went pass the passender fender to TB. It rubbed so much it cut the intercooler coupling open (boost leak) making the turbo push harder causing it to make the supercharger that sound. I Fix that no more supercharger whine. Also something to note: while doing the boost leak check I needed to get bout 13psi for it to show up. Good luck

When my turbo was making the supercharger noise, about 15 miles later it died, shaftplay all over the place.It wouldent boost if its life depended on it, just made the supercharger whine. It was a pretty much new 16g too...I replaced it with another 16g.

Particles of dirt caked on the compressor wheel or if the wheel has bent fins can make a "supercharger" noise. But usually it's a bad sign when it makes that noise cause 9 times out of 10 the turbo is going south.

my turbo doesnt have any shaft play and im only getting 160 miles to a tank of gas but my turbo is still making boost and its been making the supercharger sound for a week now so i guess im going to have to check for a boost leak somewhere...any other suggestions?

Before you go and buy a new 16g... Check for Boost Leaks!! I have had a problem very similar to yours. I boost leak tested my car and sure enough. So go make yourself a boost leak tester(if you dont have one) test it and report back with your findings
