Yeah thts right I'll be driving down the road and all the sudden the exhaust sounds like its under water, I play around with it and notice the boost is only going to about 9lbs. Could this be a boost leak, blown gasket or worse? It has happend 3 times now so I know its no fluke! Please help and thanks! Oh also if this has anything to do with this, but when lowering the rpm, i.e. just letting it engine break, around 3500rpm the belt will make a chirpping noise and I feel power loss which I believe is the ECU retarding the timing but what I can't figure out is why it does is. Oh well maybe we can fix two problems in one. Thanks again!

First off perform a boost leak test. Which belt are you talking about, timing, or the acessory belts? What do you mean you feel a loss of power when engine breaking? You are just letting the engine slow you down you aren't accelerating so i don't see how you can notice a loss of power, please try to explain more.

I don't know which belt I just hear a chirp noise and can assume its a belt.

I had the exact same problem, do a boost leak test, change your spark plugs, and plug wires. That's what I did and it solved my problem.
