Car shuddering with New Greddy BOV

I just installed my upper and lower intake pipe along with a Greddy BOV and I can't hit over 10 psi. I was checking for leaks and found that my old hose on the BOV wasnt tight enough so i stopped that leak and the car still starts shuddering at 10 psi so I thoguht maybe I need to adjust the set screw in the BOV. Could this be the problem and does the screw get tighter as you screw it in or odes it spin pretty freely? One other thing was I supposed to use the Y shapped connecter piece and connect the pipe on the purple top half with the pipe coming out below it and also then to the hose coming from the manifold because I did do that. Thanks I know that sounds really jumbled up but I need ideas whats wrong because my car has already been down for a week and i cant wait any longer.

ok i you should really search about your questions on the BOV. I think you need to tighten it, it may be opening too soon. Also are you recirculating your BOV? My sugesstion is to tune the BOV on the harder side and see what happens. Then if that's not the problem change your Plugs and wires, my car studdered under full boost then i changed my plugs to NGK Bpr7es and the car runs like a champ at 15psi. Ok now did you tune it harder yet? Do that, because sometimes when it's not tightened enough they will open at idle.

Alright I'm gonna have to wait awhile looks like the threads on the BOV were not cut correctly and it onyl has thread on one side and the adjustment screw wiggles and does not tighten. I'll have it returned to the company I bought it from and get a new one.
