car runs terrible after MAS install

Ok so I installed my 3" GM MAS today. I've had the GEN 2 MAFT installed for a few weeks now and car ran fine on stock MAS. After the install today car runs terrible. Idles around 1000 rpm and rough. I know all the wires are connected right. I tried changing the settings on the MAFT to 3" GM input and output but nothing. I have all stock fuel system. Could this be the reason? Just to much air and not enough fuel to compensate? I'm debating on just ripping it out and going back to stock. Any inputs would be appreciated.

I allso have a stock fuel system and mine works good. So thats not it.
Sounds like the 3" GM mas is bad get another one and try it!

Did you change any of the settings? If so, what did you change. The sensor is brand new so I want to say its good.

New does not always mean good. Do you have another car you can put the GM mas onto to check it .

I have the gen II and when I first put it in I accidentally set it to LS1 and not 3"GM maf on the input setting. My car ran as you described. You need to go to the settings menu and make sure output is 1g dsm and input is 3"GM maf.

Roger that. I know I have my settings as input and output 3" GM MAF. As soon as I get the turbo reinstalled I will change those and let you know how it goes.

I would check the settings again and make sure your injectors are set properly as well. You may need to tune low, mid, and high fuel trims for smooth driving.

Ok, so I changed the settings and now seems to run better. Wasn't able to test drive it due to a leak at the downpipe and o2 housing. But the settings seem to have been the problem. Thanks to everyone
