Car runs leak and overheats

My car is overheating and running lean(17-17ARFs then off the wideband) this happens at crusing RPMs and especially higher speeds(highway) or even going up a hill and I get into boost.(it also kind of dogs or tuggs when this happens) The Temp gauge slowly climbs when this happens and the egnine smells hot.(it never really totally overheats or gets red, just goes up a peg or 2 in temp). I just replaced the head gasket, compression is good leak down test good, I replaced the O2 sensor, MAF, thermostat, and water pump. no boost leaks. Any thoughts???? Im getting real sick of this car

Sorry, the title should say- lean- not leak. Im thinking ECU? also maybe I was thinking my blow off valve is opening for some reason under any boost, or maybe the wastegate?

If you don't have a logger then your kind of shooting in the dark, however I'd think by replacing the CTS (coolant temp sensor) and the front o2 sensor would be the next two things I'd replace.

If the bov was leaking under boost it would show when you did the BLT and the wastegate has nothing to do with your AFR's, you just couldn't build any boost if it was bad.

already replaced the front O2 and coolant temp sensor. still not sure what the problem is.

Is your water pump turning good? or is your thermostat opening?

replaced the water pump and thermostat also.

Pull the ECU , open it up, and check for a blown sensor ground. You can visually inspect it or check with a multimeter for continuity, sensor ground is Pin 92 at the connector on the 2g...

I thought the coolant sensor that the coolant gauge uses doesnt see the ecu.
I thought a different coolant sensor was fed to the ecu.
