i have a 93 nt, i have done a compression test which got perfect all the way accross, have tested almost every sensor(MAF, intake temp., Barometric, TPS) and i have cleaned my MAF. its bone stock with just the box around the filter missing. I know my injectors need cleaning because they tick while running, but i cant imagine that would be the only problem. my problems are rough idle, falls to idle and almost dies, and after running for a while it starts to cut in and out when i hold the throttle steady around 2000 rpm. could my fuel pump be going because it whines extra loud also. any help is much needed, thanks.

I would try doing a tune up and or possibly try a differnt MAF from a junkyard or something.

ive recently done a tune like last 500 miles with bocsh platinum +4 plugs and 8mm wires. also it has had regular mantinence since i got it about 20,000 mile ago.

You could try replacing the fuel pump... if it's making weird noises that's probably not good. I'd also adjust the BISS to hopefully solve some of the idle problems, or your ISC may be going bad.

what are the BISS and ISC im a little new to some of this. also i replaced the fuel filter recently and advanced my timing a little which helped the crappy idle.

oh yeah, clean out your throttle body (remove it,get new gasket) with some brake parts cleaner or something..there might be gunk between the butterfly and the body, causing air to get by,and your isc doesnt know whats ggoing on.

DSM's love ngk products such as there spark plugs and there wires. I have the plantinum ngk spark plug and the msd 8mm runs great. If i were just change oil alll your fluids and some additives and it should run good after that. O ya also check all your belts timing, water pump, alternator etc. :thumb:

Step one: DSMs like NGKs. Moreso on turbos, but even N/As.

Put those Bosch plugs in a sock and use it for ninja training.
Exactly, I'm glad someone caught that.

Get rid of the platinum plugs for sure. I tried those plugs in my rig and it missed worse than when i had stock plugs with 150k on them. (when i bought the car)

really i had ngks in and it idled like complete shit even right after i put them in i put in these bosch plugs and it was better idle adn tehn short after i sprayed some crap cleaner in my throttle body which also helped it but it still cuts in and out. but whatever if i still have the car when i give it a tune up next ill try ngks again. oh and ive replaced every fluid recently also including radiator, and my belts are good all except my altenator which ive been ahving problems with since i got the car. i took out the stock altenator because it couldnt handle my system, and put in a 90 amp which also squeaks now so i tried putting a second battery in the back which helped but didnt fix it. ive checked the belt its still tight and i cant understand why it does that.
