hi i have a big problem. my car is running kinda weird
. heres all i have done to it. a big 16g turbo with internal wastegate, 255lph fuel pump, hard intercooler piping up to intake ( still on side mount), gm maf with translator, boost controller pushing 15 psi , and tial 50mm bov.
everytime i hit the gas in any gear the stock boost gauge says im spooling boost but it seems like its hesitates more then it spools but when it actually starts spooling it spools for a little but cuts and jerks the car. My buddy told me that the stock boost gauge isnt really realible and he is giving me a mmcd to log it. i was just wondering maybe i hooked up something wrong or something. when its idling the stock boost gauge stays at 0 not -7 but if it idling in neutral for 30 seconds it will go to -7 vacuum. i dunnno what it could be seems like it started to do it after i put the tial bov on. btw i wanted to ask if the tial bov had a set psi that it had to run on or the spring wouldnt release the pressure. jw.
( sorry but it wouldnt let me post on any other forum because im new )
thanks everyone!
actually did some research on the tial bov and they have set springs for different vacuum. maybe the one i got has a tighter spring then it should have? how would i know? but the bov came off a eagle talon same year just a little more hp. please HELP!!
