Car power / fuel surges need help

This has started happening at least once or twice every time i drive the car. It started happening after I jumped my brother's car twice and unhooked the battery to fix up my sound system.

I have a feeling it has to do with the power in the car and not the fuel but i figure it may be a possiblity after i explain the situation to you.

As i'm driving the car will jerk as if it were backfiring and drop in rpms and rise back to where it was several times then stop. The headunit will turn off and turn back on as if the car were stalled. I also notice when i let go of the clutch too soon in lower gears (1st,2nd) that it happens.

I'm not sure the problem and I would appreciate any and all tips i can get.

Hey buddy reset ## ecu by removing the relay and battery pos. Let it run for a day or 2 and see what happens. My gst did that after the gt32 install. I let it ride for 3 days and it went away. I reset it again and the problem showed up again. After cruisin it went away. See what happens and drop me a line.
