car stalls or surges sometimes

hey guys i have a 98 gst 90 k ... recently i got a used throlle from a gsx with 3 vacumm outputs e a p my gst only had 2 never had p.. now when i put on the new one i notice when i drive and accelarate and let go of gas sometimes the car will act like it wants to die but stays on and sometimes it dies.. and i put it back in d and start it no problem . i bloked off the p on the throotle by puttin cap into it ........ what do you think the problem could be??

Boost leak. Research boost leak testing. You most likely have a boost leak at the throttle body especially if you didnt us a new TB gasket or rtv gasket on the gasket.

deff cheak boost leak,,could be throttle body shaft seals there are real comin, just replaced mines, also cheak to see if the cap you put on is craked i have my emitions off with rubber caps and somtimes they crack and air gets through them. and mayb tps sensor is miss adjusted.

i just got done dropping pan taking out oil pump because my balance elimantor kit stub fell out and i lost full pressure .. so that was a hard jobb .. but it feel gresat to have my dsm running again.................
