I have a 1g n/t 4g63 engine. My stock transmission cracked into 6 different pieces, so I am installing a 2g turbo transsmission in my 1992 fwd eagle talon.
My question is, what is the best way to handle the different fwd axle sizes? Can I use the 2g axles, or are they too different from the 1g axles. If not, would swapping the axle cups (the side that goes into the transmission) with the 2g ones and use the 2g cups on my 1g axles work?? Remember this is a fwd n/t application. this is my daily driver, and I need to get it running before college starts back up and so I can get to work.
Thanks in advance for all the help,
Chris.
