Car only runs on cyl 1 and 4...sometimes.

trying to help a buddy with a 95 gs-t....it's only firing on cyl 1 and 4 and sometimes it will have a real hard time firing at all.

the weird thing is after trying to start it you can hear the injectors firing even though the ignition is turned off? this will last a few minutes...

tried replacing coil packs and resistor box but nothing. any ideas??

Is he running the stock CAM and Crank sensors? Or does he have it converted to the 1g cas?

Replace a timing belt recently?? Check your compression

sounds like a bad coil pack

coil pack has already been replaced.

compression is fine too...it's definitely something electrical.

check to see if there is any corrosion and the coil harness, there should be three pins. one is for 1&4 and another is for 2&3. if there is build up on the 2&3 pin or it has a loose connection it will not get power to fire those spark plugs
