car keeps dieing???

alright ive been having problems wiht my 1992 eagle talon tsi awd my car wont stay running i start it up and dies right away and if it does stay running it ideals at 500 to 600 rpm if theres nething i can do to fix it please let me know..

Do a compression test. if that checks out fine and in spec then check for leaks in the intake system. if that checks out then its most likely either fuel or ignition. then it would be replace plugs and wires, and test the coil packs. check the fuel pressure, make sure all the injectors are clean and also a fuel filter.

What type of plugs and gap size? Did the problems just started? If so, focus on what was done prior.
