toronto,
hey pplz,
this just happened today i went to start my car and it wouldnt start...all the lights come out but very dimmed out and the car didnt start, i got a boost and the car started but now everytime i turn the car off and try to restart i need a boost again? can it be the terminals, battery, alternator?? everything was fine..can someone help.....
thanks

As long as everything runs fine and the lights aren't dim when the car is running, it's probably not your alternator.

I'd try popping off the battery terminals and cleaning them with a battery post cleaner (wire brush that fits inside on the terminals and inside the wire connectors), and then popping them back on. It sounds like you have a bad connection to the battery.

If that doesn't cure your problem, I'd take it to AutoZone, Advance Auto Parts, or Checker/Shucks/Kragen for a charging system diagnostic (they should do it for free).

lights dont dim when car is on...
i tink its a connection problem too..ill check the wires thanks..
