ok i just got a new stock clutch in so i go to pick it up and take it out for a spin.... it was fine... then i start driving it across town to my grls house and come to a stop at a light. As soon as i start going again and let go of the clutch all the way for 1st it starts jerking really hard back and forth and the tranny guy said there was a misfire in one of the cylinders. So i shift to 2nd and keep on going. does it again but not as hard. 3rd did it some but not as much as 2nd. So i pull into autozone and am pissed off b/c it never did this b4 i fried the clutch. Well since i turned the mbc all the way down b/c i have low compression i zeroed everything out on the safc thing b/c 1. i have a stock pump. 2. stock injectors. so i figured it would up my gast milege bc he had every rmp point at like 12+. Well a guy from the transmission shop came and drove it and he said that its not the clutch. So i turned the the fuel tables on the safc thing and the jerking started to diminsh. so i said ok u can go now i think i found the problem. i spent the next 20 mins testing it wile driving so i decided to have the CEL codes checked out. misfire....2 o2 sensor codes shich is prob doing the bad milege. and an emissions code. this is a 6 bolt btw.

Well i was on my way to work and it starts jerking again even harder. And i went to work and when i was done i tried to start it and it comes on then turns off 2 sec later. Tried again and turns off two seconds later. I can rev it for 2 sec then it just turns off. But i smell gas whenever it does. So i dunno if it could be the plugs or injectors. can't be the fuel pump. Help me guys this is my daily driver and i'm starting to regret getting this thing. LOL

well i did zero everything out before i unhooked it b/c i don't trust them not messing with it. well i unhooked it before they replaced the clutch and they test drove it to see if it was installed right so they went ona road and cruised at 60+mph and said it was ok. and i got it back and it started doing this. i think its a plug or two but i gotta get the car back first.

Same thing happened to me a while back, it turned out to be a spark problem. One of my cylinders wasnt firing, and i couldnt figure out what it was. And then finally i got pissed and looked REALLY close, one of my plug wires was broken. So when you get ur car back, check the plug wires, the plugs, and it could possibly be the coil pack. But first check the two most simple problems.

Goodluck

the mechanic couldn't figure out what was wrong with it so i had it all day and the engine harness wires were like toasted from all the heat and of course they are 10 years old so i just put in new wires and its all good now.....
