Car history 2G Talon in europe

Hi,

i have bought a 1997 US Talon with 28k miles in germany.
Now i have found out that my miles count won't jump over 29k. At 28999 it returns to 28000. The car was sold to me with 28500 miles. Now i'm affaid the i bought ca car with more than 100000 miles for lots of money. US cars are very rare here, you take what you get.

I heard that in US it is possible to get a car history report.
I found carfax but they don't accept any Creditcard i have,i just have one.

Is there any chance to get a history report by paying with paypal?
Are there other ressources to get infos about the car?

I searched google a bit and lots of people have some free access to this page, maybe some one could help me out. Or some other page with good infos about this car.

We don't allow Carfax requests on this site. Carfax has gotten some sites shut down because of this. It's considered theft to ask someone to run a Carfax report on a car if you don't have an account, or if you have one, to offer to look up VIN's for people who don't.
