Car goes into gear but doesnt move-please help!!

Ive searched but have found no real explanations for this problem. The other day i was at a light and i put it in first to go and when i let out on the clutch the car did not move at all. It does this in every gear. I just replaced the slave cylinder a couple weeks ago but dont want to spend more money just guessing on the problem. Also the clutch makes a weird whining noise when it is pressed in and also clicks about halfway down every time its pressed in. Someone please help me out with this i need to get the car running again.

Did you replace the Master Cylider as well?

Actually, since you mention that the clutch does come back up, i'd guess it's a clutch problem (not the clutch pedal, the clutch itself)

No i did not do a master cylinder yet. This was one of my guesses but i wanted to get an opinion from someone else before i spent the money on the part. if it is a master cylinder i can do it myself, but if that doesnt fix it i guess ill start saving to take it to a shop. :thumbdown i might try to change that tommorow
