Hey guys I have a weird problem. When the key is on it drowns out the fm radio with a static noise like Interferance. It does it running or not running.

Radio in the car or external?

I assume you mean once you turn the key to RUN the radio just gets static but not on ACC. That sounds like one of more of the computers in the car is causing RFI. There is more than just the ECU for example the TCU, ABS, ETACS ...

Well it will drown out my shop radio also about 25 feet away, its bad. It will not do it in acc with the engine off. Only when you hear the click from dash.

IC106 is Wastegate and Fuel pressure solenoids. Are they disconnected? If so water may have gotten into the connectors.

I wonder if i can swap out an ic chip from a non turbo ecu to get this one going again ! also i do have a EBC hooked up to the bsc plug but has been working great other the the bad RFI !

The driver chips are the same between the turbo and non-turbo ECUs. You'll likely also have burned traces. From the location of the burn I'd guess the FPS wiring is what shorted out.

The traces around the chip look good i just wonder if the driver chip going out could have caused the RFI ? i found my old ecu so i can rob a driver chip out of it and try swapping it out tomorrow.
