Car dies when I push clutch in

Okay I have done some looking around but I don't really know what to type in to search for. What I have tried doesn't seem to be working

I am having an issue, if I'm coming to a stop and push the clutch in to put it in neutral ( it's worse if I'm still rolling) the Rpms dive to about 200 Rpms. Then recover, it's actually died a couple times, also with reverse, if I pull up throw it in neutral,
Then right Into reverse it will die unless I give it a lot of gas, again, the Rpms just dive.

I think last time I had this problem I just upd the idle to avoid it but I know that's not the proper fix, idle for the 2g is 750 I know, so with stock cams
That should stay at 750, what's another option, or maybe the proper fix?

Btw, FINALLY got link on the way so hopefully that will aid my diagnosis skills, since they are poor

Isc, tps? And do you have any grinding, or shifting problems? Seems that if it only happens when you hit the clutch then its the clutch.

I think its the ISC.

If its the ISC and you can't get a working one from a junkyard cheaper, do NOT order from the Mitsu dealer. Order one here new - this is a reputable place for DSM ISCs and yes I have bought one from them before:

Just wanted to let u know that i replaced my ISC and car runs fine now!

Its really easy to find at a junk yard due to the fact that the same one is used on numerous Mitsu/chrysler cars. Grabed it for 2 bucks!

quick question about your isc. what exactly was your car doing? because I just did a head swap, and now my car will start, but wont stay idle. If I start it and bounce the throttle it'll run but act.as if its stuck from 4 to 5k rpms. take my foot off the throttle and it bounces at 2k rpm, then dies.

appreciate when someone offers you help, you may have to buy a part from him in the future!

Buddy of mine had the same clutch issue. He replaced his altenator...nothing happened . Then he bought a new ISC and it worked like magic. But he spent a bit though...
