ok so here's the deal, my gst's been cutting out since april last year parked it for the winter and want to get it running right. when i go to get on it any it just starts to sputter, sometime it runs perfect but 95% of the pulls its cutting out, all this happened after i put e85 in it and then switched back to regular gas. i originally had 1080 injectors, but ive switched to 680's to try and fix this issue, checked fuel pump, checked compression, rewired coil on plug setup, was gettin a cylinder 3 misfire back in april but didnt get it tonight, went through about 5 sets of plugs, tried them all, had a guy professionally tune my car paid $50 an hour, he didnt figure it out either, my car is running e316g, turned down to 15 psi, afpr, 255 pump, intake, 3 inch exhaust and downpipe, idk heres some of my logs hopefully someone can help me, i tried tunin a bunch please help me out LOL

I just happened to see this getting on to check a pm... .:hmm:

The getting better log is set to 1185 us deadtime WTF You paid someone to do that :ohdamn:

Pretty much the best thing you could do is zero out Everything...

Set your global fuel to -30% ,fuel presure to 43 and deadtime to 300 start capturing about a half dozen more things... Fueltrims. ISCposition, Battey voltage, Wideband etc. and start over... .

This^ is asuming the ONLY thing in the tank is Pump gas (E10) an the PTE 680's and not some off unknown blend mixture of gas an ethanol...

^^ Agreed, -19.9% Combined FT? The ECU is pulling fuel because you are running rich.

Where is your Wibeband readout?

If you paid someone to purposely do this to your car, go get your money back. That is the worst looking "tune" I've ever seen.

I don't know what the hell they were thinking, but based on the "getting better" log:

1). The fuel sliders are all set to -39.8% (and shouldn't need to be used at all in V3)

2). The timing sliders are all set to 6* (and shouldn't need to be used at all in V3)

3). The MAFComp sliders are...a bit weird. The curve isn't smooth and doesn't look right... based on the few 2G MAF curves I've seen. (I'll defer that to a 2G guy though).

4). Global fuel is set for 1200cc injectors (on E85 and stock fuel pressure)

5). Deadtime is off the map...not even close to what typical 680cc injectors should need.

6). The DA tables haven't been touched; they should be set to something more reasonable before even beginning to tune, especially on E85.

7). Your front O2 sensor is not working at all, so combinedFT and fuel trims are meaningless.

8). Your TPS isn't calibrated.

9). NB simulation is enabled, but there isn't a WB assigned to any inputs.

10). Anti-lag is enabled. Really?

11). Target idle is set at 1100 rpms.

There's probably more, but it is just so wrong that nothing else really matters right now. :)

That shop owes you some explanations and your money back, at the very least. Find someone that knows what they are doing, and start over.

If you want an idea of how far off you are...when everything is properly calibrated, BoostEst should be pretty close to actual boost at peak engine VE. You say you are running 15 psi of boost? BoostEst says it's around 28 psi. Without a working front O2 or logged wideband though, there is no way to know anything at all about the air/fuel ratio.

Besides this mess, I think you have a mechanical issue with either fuel delivery or airflow. If it's running rich even with all the fuel that's being pulled out (fuel sliders, global value, and MAFComp), then something doesn't add up at all. You need to do all the usual mechanical checks such as BLT, adjusting the BISS, etc., along with getting the WB logged and a working front O2 sensor signal.

At a very quick glance:

1. You are still using the timing sliders

2. You still have NB simulation enabled but no WB input

3. MAFComp is not calibrated

4. TPS still isn't calibrated

etc.

only mess with it for a little while today but its still sputtering, i did what you said MY1gdsm didnt have a chance to really change all of what you said calan, but i will next time i get in it, the car was idling really low again today and seemed like it was about to die, so i tapped on the coil packs while it was doin that and i swear it sounded normal then sam ething again then i taped on it again then ran normal for about 2 minutes, idk if its some kind of short, or maybe its not getting enough spark im not sure

Well for starters your log's are kinda Lot to look at but at idle i still see a few things off. First have you gone to ecm link's web page and forums and looked on there videos how to set up idle? i see your TP is still saying 2% at idle and your airflow per rev is way off. Next why is your idle set at 1100rpm? I would go to ecm links web site and watch all there instructional videos.

finally fixed it, it was the coil on plugs, thanks everyone for the responses

...and your entire tune...if I were you, go to ECM site and do alot of reading and video watching. Reset all of your settings and start over. As posted above, there is so much out of wack and things that should not be...
