1st, 2nd, thrid, forth possible 5th but I dont really notice it there.


Soon as I hit 1800 - 2000 rpms my car bogs.

I can feel the power cut out and the rpms dont really climb well and I can pretty much slam on the gas and the power will just slowly rise out of the 2000 range and soon as its clear of 2k It will drive like normal and rpms fly.


Im thinking Coil packs cause it only does it at 2k rpms no matter the throttle position.

Anyone ever had anything like this before?
 
My 96 gst had a similar problem. First things first check your plugs. They are most likely fouled. If they are bad change them, if that doesn't help then your next suspect would be bad plug wires. Let me know how it goes when you get this done.
 
Boost leak dosn't seem to be viable.

Im not under boost at the time.

It happens at a RPM and is not throttle % sensitive.

1800 - 2000 rpms my car starts to stutter and bog slightly but will come alive out of it.
I can boost fine. 15 psi to redline no ill iffects besides a bad tune.


Plugs / Wires may be the culprit ifnot then coil pack / ecu and I hope its not my 95 Eprom ecu.
 
IS your firing order correct... IT is possible. My car would run fine but i had the wrong firing order LOL. Im just wondering if that is the sweet spot. But it sounds like a bad S.P.gap or wires.

Ive been known to mess up the fireing order.

Ill make sure to check that 1st :]

But Last time I messed it up the car wouldn't stay on for more then 2 seconds before dieing.

These are brand new NGK sp's and wires.

But I know that dosn't mean much.
