Hey when i got my GST, all my wiring was messed up. things were cut here and there. Is it possible to join all the colored wires circled in this picture....

Some of the colors are not the same, but they have same "hue"??... Both have light greens, light purples, light grays. Just different values of "lightness" Sorry i do not know what words to describe it. This guy at a audio place told me to do that, but i just wanna see what you guys think.
 
It's pretty simple. There are 4 speaker wire colors (green, gray, purple, and white) and then you have the remote turn on lead for the amp (blue). There is a yellow wire (constant), red wire (switched via ignition key), and black (ground). The others are for screen dimming and other useless crap... To answer your question can you join the red and yellow wires YES, (not the orange though). Should you join the red and yellow.. NO.
 
So i can match the light grey one with the lighter gray one? and the light purple one with the lighter purple one, etc etc?
