GSX Wiring Question with pics

I bought my white gsx about a year ago and finally have been working on rebuilding it for the past months Engine is almost done so i have been working on the wiring the PO had lamp power wire twisted and electrical taped wires, guages and sensors all over the car, Ive ripped all that junk out soldered and shrink wrapped with the correct wires

But the ecu connectors have some swapped wires and some weird connectors why the swapped? and is the grey tape factory? Thanks for any help

I Undid the grey electrical tape on this image there was another next to the one still taped

it looks to me as the injector wires have been swaped round i did my ones when i put in a 99 ecu

OK well it has a 1990 engine with dsm link 2 would they still be the injector wires?

yes its to do with the cas swap for a 6 bolt
