Okay I just picked up my gst from the local mechanic after I needed a new timing belt water pump and all the pulleys and I paid $600. Okay as soon was I left the parking lot, I notice my RPM and my MPH weren't moving just my stock turbo boost on the left hand corner was working. So Im like maybe a fuse? I did a U-TURN so they can check it out again, though when I did I couldn't really notice how long I was holding my shifts due to the speedometer wasn't working, so I was shifting quick and my radio was turning off everytime I shifted a long shift then automatically my radio turns off I was like WTF? So I pulled back in and made them check everything. They checked all the fuses and my battery and claim everything worked %100 and he claims my battery had alot of power? So I noticed on my alternator I belive the altnerator harness was disconnected! And I pointed to it and he claims "Oh that's just your fan plug" and Im like "are you sure looks like its connected to my altnerator" (Since I was already late 15 min from my first day of work in a new area I left and didn't want to argue) I live close so I drove it off, with my radio and everything seeming to turn off everytime I shifted high. (remember speedometer and RPM's don't move) so My question is..is the car running just on the battery I took a picture and it pretty damn to me that thats the alternator harness and could be the cars problem since it seems like it's dieing since its hooked up to the battery. Take a look please I appreciate your help is always gratefull
