car acting weird.. keeps stalling after install

okie... lemme start by saying that i was driving around and when i boost i hear metal grinding.. so when i got to my house.. i decided to take my intake pipe out... to my suprise .. i look in the compressor housing and i see some oil and chipped fins.. i took all my pipes off the hot side and saw oil and the color of it was dark grey... and my intercooler had some oil in it to... but when i look at the cold side.. there was no oil at all.. it was clean.. sooo...what i did was i got an evo3 manifold with an fp 18g with a stainless steel 3 inch o2 housing.. the 18g was ported to 7cm as well as the turbo side of the manifold.. (went all the way to turbo trix just to get a 7cm gasket) than i put everything back together.. than i jumped the car.. (battery was dead) the car started.. and smoke came out of the manifold because of all the liquid wrench i used to take the manifold out.. than when i turned the car off.. to clean the terminals and i jumped it again it turned.. than it stalled... it would stay on for about 1-2 seconds.. than die... so i was like.. what hell.. so what i did was i took the harness off of the mas and when i turned it on.. it stayed on.. but it was really sluggish trying to stay on... but the instance that i put the mas harness back on.. it died....

i dont know what happend.. basically i turned the car on.. it started.. everything was running.. i even stepped on the gas.. and the car reved up like normal.. but when i turned it off.. cleaned the terminal and try to turn it on.. thats when i started to have problems.. when the car would be on.. it would barely stay on... it would be soo close to stalling.. when i stepped on the gas.. it would stall faster....

do you have any other 2g friends that could let you borrow their MAS to swap out and see if it works? do you have any fuel mods?

this is what i think happend.. please anybody tell if i am wrong.. basically i need air.. spark and fuel... to turn the car... i think it is my fuel pump... after i started it a couple times.. and stalled.. i realized that i probably dont have enough fuel.. or no fuel is coming.. because now when i try to start it.. it does everything but starts.. basically its like theres no fuel... you turn the key.. and the ignition system goes .. but no continuation.. well i took the seat off.. (spyder) and took the plate off.. and when i turn the ignition.. i hear no 1 sec sound of the fuel pump turning on... there are a couple of things... 1. no voltage running through the fuel pump... 2. the fuel pump concidentally broke when i finally get my car running.. hmm... what a coincedence!!!! so it might be the fuel pump.!!!!!

just so you dont tear it all up for no reason, check fuel fuses just in case too

You're right you need spark, fuel, and air. (compression also but that's another story...)
To test for fuel, the way I do is like this.
I place a container under the fuel rail to catch the fuel. Pull off the fuel line and get a friend to hold it in the container. Then I crank it over as they watch for fuel to come out. Fuel comes out, pump is good, no fuel no pump or clogged line.

it did start.. before.. now with the mas plugged or not it doesnt even start.. also.. if i do have fuel .. wouldnt my spark plugs show any gas.. but my spark plugs are dry and normal... thats means its igniting... the motor wont start anymore.. but everything else seem to work fine.. i tested the voltage to the fuel pump.. and it was good.. i get voltage when i turn the igntion on ... .. not before.. but my fuel pump doesnt make a sound..

ohhhh wait a min.. i think the reason why the car stalled when the mas was on.. it was reading lean or idleing low.. so that ecu prompted the car to apply more gas.. and when it did.. it couldnt because the pump was on its way out.. its almost the same thing.. because if the mas was unplugged there is nothing to tell the ecu that its running lean or low idle.. or needing gas... and at the moment i press on the gas pedal.. it would do the same thing that the mas was doing trying to get more gas...

it sounds like everything works except there is no gas.. the crank turns and turns while i have the ignition on.. but doesnt start...

tell me if this makes any sense...

Is it still smoking? Which manifold is it smoking from? Do you have all the pipes connected up correctly and is your mas plugged in? Check for fuel before claiming your pump is messed up. Can you try using proper grammar/sentence structure next time?

i didnt know that i was graded on my paper here... anyway..

it was the fuel pump.. it swaped the fuel pump for a 255 walbro and it runs now... just had to wait until the line filled up with gas .. but it started after 2 trys... anyway..

now im not getting charge on my car.. could it be the alternator? because when the car is on.. i put a volt meter up to the alternator and i get about 11.3 volts.. not good!!! it usually read 14.3 something... soo obviously its not charging my batt.. i know that my batt is still good.. but alternator? ..

is there something that tells the alternator how much voltage to put out? or should i just swap out the alternator... i mean when its on.. it doesnt die.. it stays idle.. but my gauges on my light are really low.. and when i rev.. the lights on the guages goes brighter.. so it has to be my alternator...

what do you guys think?

by the way.. the smoked stop.. the oil feed line from the side of the head.. it was a little loose soo oil would drip down.. onto the middle section of the turbo.. but all the liquid wrench burned off...
