I know that the capacitors in the 1G DSMs were junk and would leak after a few years. Six years ago, I bought a 91 Talon with only 35K miles. Pulled the ECU and found that the caps were leaking. Got them replaced and everything was fine. This Talon died about 6 months ago and, just today, I bought a 97 Talon AWD with only 31K miles. So, anyone know if Mitsubishi is still using the same junk capacitors in the 2G units. If they are, I should probably pull out the ECU and take a look. Have there been continuing problems with the ECU in 2G cars?
