cant go into gear

I've just replaced my master and slave cylinder for my clutch. And bled and adjusted my pedal.... it will not go into any gear except reverse. When it is in reverse all you hear is grinding... please any help!?

I would keep bleeding it.

How much do u have to bleed? I've used like 20 oz of brake fluid already.do u think the clutch it self would be the issue??

Also. I noticed that the rod on the new MC is shorter then the one that I replaced. Being that the slave was my issue, should I use the old MC with the new slave? I just replaced both as recommended, however im thinking the shorter rod could also be the issue. All the components on the slave were the same....

try adjusting the clutch pedal just to be sure

What was the original reason fro replacing these peices? If it was doing the same thing it may be the clutch itself, Try shifting gears with the car off just to make sure the trans is ok, If thats good and you feel that you have bled more fluid through your line than a dying cow, Suspect a cheaply made master and slave. I have found a few vehicles that advanced auto and autozone, and so forth have had no luck getting any good response from master cylinders and slave cylinders, Even spongy pedals on brakes. Depending on where you got the parts break for the factory replacement from a dealer. After all that I would suspect the clutch itself!
