I have read the VFAQ and a bunch of sites on how to do this. I thought I had it fixed but since I did the 1g Throttle body swap I cant get the TPS to be 100%. Its at 99% when its at WOT but when I let off the gas its is at 3. When I do as described on the VFAQ site it goes to 0 when I let off but WOT is only 89%. Other than that car runs good. Any Idea what to do?

99% at WOT is fine, you don't have to do anything.

If you think you have a problem, just verify that when it is a WOT that the throttle plate is opened all the way. You can do this with the car off, but you will need a buddy to mash the gas for you.

I saw that part about it going to 89%, but I interpreted it as meaning that after he adjusted the TPS acording to VFAQ that it went from reading 99% to 89%. Maybe I read it wrong OMG

The ECU sees anything over 90% as WOT so the if he has it at 99% there is no problem.

As far as your link. I have never seen a 2g that read 10% on a logger at idle. I have read that on the pocketlogger site and have not found it to be true on the 4 vehicles I have connected my logger to. I always wondered where that came from. At idle mine reads 0% as does all the other 2g's I have seen.

On a 2g the ECU uses the TPS for the throttle closed position switch to initiate closed loop idle control. But I'm not sure at what percent on the TPS the ECU goes into closed loop idle control.

I'm going to have to do some searching on that.

EDIT> Ah, ha, I found it :) It happens at TPS readings of anything below 1 or 2%. So anything above that and the ECU will not enter closed loop idle control as it believes that the throttle plate is open.
