Milton,
I'll start with the basics. My car is 98 Talon TSI with a 6bolt and CAS swap. Trying to get my car to run but it will not. When I turn it over, it cranks, fires for a second and shuts off. This is everything I've gone through with it:

This is what I've checked while Cranking.
1. Read parameter from EMS, Stat Sync’D ON, 1xx-3xx RPM, Engine load( 1xx kPa), Fuel Inj Pulse 0.7x,
2. I checked for power at the injectors and they are getting it fine.
3. Checked spark plugs. Only getting spark once for a second when cranking.

So I'm trying to figure out whats going on here. I've played with the pickup comp delay that someone mentioned while I was searching and it only made the car run for about 5 seconds before it would die and it also wouldn't respond to any throttle. I hope to got my AEM didn't take a shit. I'm already on my second one and I haven't even got the car to run yet.

Also if it matters the car runs perfectly fine on the stock ecu. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

have you checked that your home signal and trigger signal are both hooked up and setup correctly and in the right order>

They are both hall effect or "standard" trigger on the falling edge and typical trigger edge is 70-75* btdc... then the ignition out put should be a dumb ignitor or "simple" and fires on teh falling edge as well.

uhmmm. 'im trying to remember the terms AEM uses, i don't have my laptop booted up to see right now, but it's not hard to set up.(well, in the newer/good units it's more complicated) but it should be straight forward.. I'm a bit drunk so excuse my grammar and what not

Also make sure your timing is synced up correctly . you can do this while cranking even if it does not run . just connect a timing light and have someone crank the car and make sure it is close to the timing it should be . This is of course if it is sparking no spark and the timing light wont work .
