cannot connect to dsmlink v2

I had some work done on my car recently and now I can't connect to dsmlink v2 with my laptop via serial. I had my lambo doors converted back to stock hinges.
I talked to him and he had to remove the bumper, fenders and door panels to adjust the windows and door limiters.
He said he didn't disconnect the battery due to the tuning that would be lost with dsmlink. The car fine for 2 days before trying to connect to dsmlink. I had it working access to dsmlink everytime before bringing it to him, now I can't connect. I have checked all the fuses that I could think of and all the accessories work correctly.

What next?

If you disconnect the battery, everything is erased with link???

That's the problem i am running into. The chip was originally programmed for 550cc injectors and now I have 750cc's. It starts and runs but a rough of course....
