Can you use a non turbo ecu jus to start a turbo motor

I got a 90 non turbo eclipse i put my 91 turbo wire harness in and my turbo ecu and my jdm 92 turbo motor the ecu looked fine b4 i tried to start it but not it hasin a leakin capaciator and the board looks burned at a point i was wonderin if i could a non turbo ecu jus to start the car to hear it run thanks for ## time

It might start but will have major problems controlling the larger injectors you should have.
Wait till you find a turbo ecu to fire it up.

i am pretty sure the turbo ecu wasnt leakin b4 i tried it out on the conversion n plus it always worked for me but after than like a couple days lata i looked n saw a leakin capitaor and any got and good turbo ecu's

and can u use a auto matic turbo ecu for a manual

Yes. You can use an auto for a manual to start the car.

yes you can us an auto for a manual.

You can, but the ECU is looking for 390cc auto injectors instead of the manual 450cc's. Also, the fuel maps are different. It'll run, but not well.
