I have a local shop that will hot tank stuff really cheap, im gettin my valve cover done, and i have a turbo kickin around and wanted to knwo if i could do this to clean i up, or is there seals inside it will ruin? or will it seize it up without oil?

well the turbo's in great shape, but it has dried oil and shit cuase its been sittin for a while, cand i spray it with like and engine degreaser?

Carb cleaner should cut it all. Try different brands, some are more of a solvent than others. Try to keep it away from the shaft as much as you can, don't let it seep into the seal. And, use a toothbrush.
