Yes. The FMIC may add a little more restriction to your intake.. but will more than make up for it with the cooler / denser air and allow you to "up" the boost a few more psi to boot :thumb

Unless you are getting a killer deal, there is no point in doing this. Buy something thats going to be more useful to you, like a new turbo. The sidemount is more then capable w/ 16g, so why not wait until you are up over that 300hp area?

I dont see why you say there is no point, I wish that when I had started out I had not gone for the 16g turbo. They are great turbos dont get me wrong but I wish I would have gone bigger. If thats his case and his goals are larger turbo then he could get the FMIC now, turbo the boost up higher on his current turbo and get some of the other supporting mods he might need to run that larger turbo. But to answer his question a FMIC would not be a "bad" thing and wouldn't "hurt" him depending on his goal their might be something better to get first.
