I've called a bunch of Mitsu dealerships so far...even called Hawaii....and they have all said so far that I need to bring the car there and they need to do it, cause that's the whole purpose of having the anti-theft part of the radio....and I'm not traveling somewhere paying someone money when some of you have just called and had it done for free. So those of you that had it done...what dealership did you go to?

Do you have the radio serial number? Just call the aprts department and say your battery went dead and you had it replaced and now the radio won't work. Say you pulled the trim and got the number and ask if they can please look up the code.

It's always been more than a little unsettling to me that we have such a paucity of Mitsubishi people on this forum. No designers, no one involved with Diamond Star Motors, no engineers, and only two or three mechanics.
Of course, we'd kill any salesmen we found.
Try the dealers on our Sponsors list. San Rafael Mits may help out.
