Can someone recommend a clutch?

hey dudes. so my GSX is running around 300-400 bhp. I have a ACT 2600 which i thought was good for up to 450 hp but it totally fried on me. I was not launching or doing anything like that. Now it won't engage or actually do anything at all. I noticed it was slipping under acceleration. Now the car will not stall when you let go of the clutch completely when stopped-it's completely gone. Can you guys recommend me a clutch kit that has the best street driveability while able to take the abuse of high power? Thanks all

Southbend SS Series Full Face Kevlar. Magnificent clutch, less than $500. Will hold well over what you need and will feel similar to a stock clutch. being kevlar, you also worry less about slipping and glazing, unlike other clutch disks which are prone to chatter and uncomfortable feel.

how did you pull 3-4 hundred horse out of the same setup as me!? is that seriously legit hp numbers? if thats the case i bet you rape sti's (on the track of course ;-) ) I have the act2600 as well and i haven't been pleased i'm looking forward to seeing some of the responses you get.

Act 2900 is the way to go. I loved the 2900 until it decided to let go after 20000 miles on a 4th gear pull after many acts of hooliganisim. I stepped up to the spec 5.4 6puck solid hub and wished I bought another act2900. Launching off the 5000 rpm twostep is like magic but anything dealing with street manners sucks bunghole. Extremely grabby, on/off clutch.

Southbend all the way I run one an its probably the best clutch Ive ever ran (mines not listed though)....

Pick up one up from Twicks69 from Tmzperformace <--- here he sells them an has been a big part of development for the line of southbends for our cars....

Ive seen way to many ACTs fail to recommend them....

One more for South Bend Clutch. I been using their kevlar face for over a year now, I love it. Very good for daily and spirited driving.
