Ok i took that thing off to move the battery it was in my way and is that pic good for the circle?I took your picture of "Frank" and added an arrow and circle.
What DB is talking about in bold is the arrow I have placed on the Left side of your engine.
The Circle I placed on your exhaust manifold shows that there is indeed a turbo installed(bolted to the manifold, Downpipe is connected, and air filter is connected). If you are not making boost and have not removed anything then it would be because of the missing pipe to the left of the engine(Arrow).
Could you take a picture facing down in between the engine and radiator? That way we have more knowledge of this "missing Turbo".
No starter point blank periodYes. Good news. You have a Turbo connected(the silver thing on the left when looking at the front of the engine). Were you told it was removed by the owner? From the picture it looks like everything is connected to it properly. I see the oil line, air filter and intercooler pipe connected.
What happens when you tried to start it also?
. Im in the process of trying to fund bolts to fit itI have a gst idk if there is a differenceIf you are unable to find bolts then you can try push starting the car since its a manual. Otherwise from my research the bolt size on a 4g63t is m10x1.25x65 I believe you can get those at auto stores under universal starter bolts
Your motor should be a 4g63T. those are the bolt specifications for the starter on that engine. Sorry for the confusion.I have a gst idk if there is a difference
Update on the starter. Had the wrong one ( nonturbo) got the right one...... It on im scared to crank
Yep and the car is not cranking could coil packs cause thatIf it's bolted on, you should be good to go. Make sure you got the harness bolted to the starter. There should also be a little black wire that slides into a small prong on the starter.

Backfiring and they are sparking is why i am asking.... Supposedly the timing belt just got replaced cause someone said sounded like the tiking was offNo, it has to be something else. Are you sure your battery has a good charge? Maybe hook up some jumper cables to it?

I was told coil packs might be bad. And uh negative ghost rider on them there wires dont know how they go i never unconnected anyOk.. you said the car is not cranking which means it's not turning over it all. So it is cranking, just not starting. Are you sure the firing order of your spark plug wires are correct?

ghost rider? Idk what that means. Pull each spark plug wire out while someone is in the car cranking and check if there is spark. Wear some gloves, don't electrocute yourself. If there is spark on all 4, then next step would be to check for fuel. After that, check timing.Anyone else catching on to the vocabulary? Yeah shenanigans!no i am honestly lost
First working on it gotta replace starter and turbo. Im trying to do that now. Then after i will worry about precqutions my main concern is getting it running right now

Negative ghostrider
Ok so if any one knows how to do that can you message me your number and ill call and you talk me through it?
