Hello every one, I know this been ask so many time that if we can use lop top for data logging but I never really find the answer if we can or not. I did a lot of searching but some say yes but they never really say how, what program did they used.. So can somebody please make a right up or some kind to show us the step by step on how to do it, I know I'm not the only one who's looking for this. I could just buy a pocket logger but I'm saving my money for dsmlink. Thanks

I know that you can with the link but still saving money so i can buy one

not trying to thread jack but, I'm going with laptop and palm emulator running MMcD through the OBD-1 port to the USB on laptop (1 cable) does anyone have any experience with that? if so how accurate is the information?

-please don't tell me just to go get dsmlink.
*I'm doing my own way.

thanks.

I use a LapTop and EvoScan, using a TacTrix Openport 2.0 cable. If you just want to log, get a cheap notebook LapTop that can run EvoScan and a VAG cable, which is less than 20 bucks.
