Can I use a 1g N/T TB on my 2g?

I've seen numerous posts about the 1g throttle body on a 2g. Well what about a 1g n/t throttle body witch is it bigger than the stock Eclipse Gst. And also I am going junkyard sniping here a little later and was wanting to know if there are any injectors out of any cars that will fit my eclipse. I think one of my injectors is going bad so I'm just curious. Please let me know.

Are your injectors going bad or just have high miles on them? Cleaning them is worth a try.

Next time use a more descriptive thread title . To answer, yes a 1g nt tbody will work. They are 60mm, same as a 1g turbo. You will need to port the stock manifold to keep from having a lip. Leaving it unported will do more harm than good! You will also need an elbow coupler. To my knowledge, the only stock injectors that will work in a DSM aside from stock ones, are those out of a turbo 13b equipped rx7. These are hard to find, so don't waste your time

The n/t TB is actually only 58mm whereas the 2g turbo TB is 52mm. The 1g turbo TB is actually 60mm. All can be ported to be larger and if you put any 1g TB on your 2g manifold you will have to port match the manifold to the TB. The real advantage you get when switching to a n/t TB, other than the lager size, is you can eliminate the 2g elbow right before the TB.....If your asking if you can use NT injectors no you cant they are depending on the yr 1g DSM non-turbo 20L --------290cc injectors 2g DSM non-turbo--------------240cc injectors, the stock injectors for turbo are 450cc try cleaning them or check your wiring to make sure everything is correct with it.

I have heard nemerous awsnsers. Saying crown Vic injectors will work but yea I trust y'all thasl man I know where a couple 1g talon and eclipses are that I can part out

IV checked my wiring I think.one.of them.is.just clogged. I'd have to.take it to somewhere and get them.professional cleaned tho right

Probably cheaper to find a set on the classifieds. Usually only $30-40. For that matter, I have a set of 3 blacktop 450s you can have. Pm me on it. Fic cleans them fairly reasonably though if you want zero room for doubt

Ive heard of people running 315cc Ford Motorsports Injectors but i dont know enough about it to give you a proper answer.

well thanks a lot Guys and thanks man for the offer on the injectors bit I think I fixed my problem. My car sit for two years inside (thank God) and I'm just doing tune up work

No problem. Yea tuneups and all other maintenance bits on these cars is a must. Some cars won't mind it so much, but dsms tend to get grouchy if something's not right
