Courtice,
No store around me sells the specified 75w85 gear oil for my transmition. The dealership says it will take 5-6 business days, and will cost $47 a quart with a minimum order of 3 quarts!(almost $150)WTF
Every performance shop around me has both synthetic and non synthetic 75w90 for $8 a quart. Can i use 75w90 in my transaxle?
thanks for the help

I guess I was being unclear... Yes it is GL4

that's also why I'm using it. I was just saying that it's a new product for them.

I once got bored with some money that was burning a hole in my pocket... switched out my Redline MT-90 to Redline MTL... I like it better

well I'm sure mitsubishi has something.... should cost less (compared to what you pay for stuff LOL) over there

Maybe they don't use the GL ratings? try some FWD toyota/honda oil or just call mitsubishi

also try to find out who sells redline

Called Mitsubishi and they said they only sell GL4-5 here and put that in their cars. Went to 3 stores and saw just one GL-4 rated oil which was the cheapest oil of the bunch and which I wouldn't be so comfortable putting in my engine. The rest were all GL-5. There was some Redline but it was GL-5 and was $35 a quart OMG
