Ok, I've been searching and searching and figure I'd see if I got this right.
My Beast is a 1990 Talon AWD. The upgrades done to my Beast. Has a 3"turbo back exhaust with 2g exhaust manifold, Galant 16g turbo, open/hacked air ilter, BCS restrictor removed (11psi), have a aftermarket boost gauge, vacuum lines removed, EGR blocked, and maintence done.
My problem is. I just had a stock 450 injector fuse up on me, the resistance is way out I have 3 that show 2.6-2.8 ohms while the 4th is a few thousand. Soo instead of just doing it wrong and replacing the one with another I'm wanting to replace all 4 with another set with equal wear.
Locally I've been able to find a set of 550cc RC injectors that are 2 years old and with only a few thousand miles on them pretty good price I assume of 100buck. They were pulled for larger injectors. I need to get car up and running fast so the local will be faster. So far haven't had any luck finding a local 450. Well found one guy he wants 200 bucks for a used set...... Rediculous price for them and not paying that.
My question is. From what I've read from my searching is that to get the 550's to work I'd also need to either get a 2g Maf/converter, or a SAFC, and for sure a A/F gauge?
My future aims for the car is just about 300HP so don't think I'd want anything bigger then 550s for my build. I currently have a non-eprom ECU.
