Can I put a 4G63 into an originally 420A car?

Ok.... so long story short bought a 420a gs eclipse no engine i have a 4g63T 6 bolt laying around gst trans and a awd trans with all rear end parts included soo how do i go about mounting the engine? feel so dumb asking for such a pain in the butt project but any help would be great oh and the gs was an auto if this doesnt make things harder im swapping to standard i have all peices bought a rolled gsx and totaled gst gots tons of parts sooooo ummm help ### dsm guros

If you want to use the GS shell put a 420a motor in it. You will be in a world of hurt trying to make the 4g63 fit in the GS. You would need all the wiring also as the 420a wiring is not compatable... I would start weighing other options unless you uave nothing better to do, with time and money anything can be done.

Unless you are real good at cutting and welding and have a ton of time it isn't going to happen. Find a turbo shell if you want a turbo car.

ok so im pretty screwed then has anyone doen this and what do u mean wiring is different i have the gsx wire harness ecu ect cut and wielding no issue for me i gots those skills down thanks for the concern and were else u ganna find a gsx shell cheap ok ... under 1000 bucks u send me in the right direction for a cheap turbo shell and ill buy it haha i no think so method behind madness this car is for fun not a dd its strictly track and some cruizin summer nights burnin up vettes and stuff

Wiring is different because its an entirely different engine and everything in the engine bay is located in a different place. Also not trying to be rude, but you could use some punctuation, . It would be wise to get the turbo shell (dsm's that came with the 4G63T, not the 420a). It will save you a lot of hassle, anger, time and money as the engine should drop right in. But if non of those are a constraint to you then its solely your decision.
