can i put 97 turbo gst ecu in 95 tsi fwd.

i have a 97 eclipse turbo gst ecu an was wondering if i can use it in a 95 talon turbo fwd.im putting a 95-96 tsi motor in it.was wondering if i could use it in the car.if so how would i go about using it.any help would be appreciated.thanks Justin

You can use it but I believe you need to swap plug wires and injector plugs to use it... Do a search on it and you'll find some info on it....

how would i find out to do the injector wires swap i know i have to swap the plug wires just dont know the order..so if you could help me find the link to the info let me know any info.thanks.lead me in the right direction.

You need to swap plug wires 1&2 and 3&4.... not sure about the injectors but probably the same... but make sure before you swap them...

you mean put 1 on 2 an 3 on 4 for the wires.an then take the injector connector harness an do the same.you dont have to do anything at the ecu where the main connector is.like take the pins an switch them.but i def have to do the plug wires im sure of that.i think.

No you don't need the mess with the wires at the ecu. For the plug wires put 1 on 2, 2 on 1, 3 on 4 and 4 on 3. I'm not sure about the injectors! I put a 95 ecu with a eprom chip and i had to swap plug wires but the injector correction was done in the chip so i didn't need to swap injector wires.
