My car is going in for a 6 bolt swap today and I just have one quick question. I have some mods on my 7 bolt and am just wondering if I can keep them. Specifically the intake and UICP.

Yes you sure can, the engine and everything will mount in the exact same. You will have no problems with intake and UICP mounting up. The differences are in the block and flywheel bolts not size or area. Good luck with the swap :thumb:

Your intake (if you mean the pipe between the maf and turbo) may not work if you are going to use a 1g maf. You have to buy a different pipe to mate up with the 1g maf. Of if you are using a 2g maf, the pipe would work, but then you'd have to use a safc.

Sorry dude but they wont. you shouldnt even waste your time trying. ill PM you my address and you can send all your stuff to me. :thumb:

I'll be using the 2g maf so I can keep the pipe. I'm installing DSMlink to counteract the misfiring problem associated with the swap and my mechanic is gonna tune it for me. Using the DSMlink instead of the safc would allow me to use the intake piping right?

Hahaha, sorry guys this isn't the place to ask this but since it was brought up: what's this "bumping" anyways? :)
