im doing a 6 bolt swap on my 99 gsx. I want to keep my air conditioning. Is this possible and how big of a pain in the ass is it?

Absolutely possible...

all 2g accessories and mounts bolt right up...

just don't disconnect the a/c system at any point when taking everything off/out...
