I have Eclipse gsx 1990, my fuel pump is dead and i'd like to install some better flowing unit.
If i will install a Walbro 255LPH HP fuel pump (fuel system is stock) will it overflow my strock fuel pressure regulator, and my car will go rich or not?
(i have no AFC or AFPR)

Some may disagree with me but i have a walbro 255 on all stock fuel components. I have seen people post and say that you have to have a regulator but i havent had a problem.\

91 Tsi awd
stock fuel system
no afc etc....

Did your millage increased then you installed Walbro pump?
What pump do you have Walbro 255 LPH (HP) or 255LPH?

my fuel pressure went from stock 37 to 49 with the 255 HP pump. I now have an Aeromotive FPR. I did not notice a difference in gas milage... My fuel trims wend down and the ecu seamed to be able compensate well enough to keep me from running lean at idle and off boost throttle.

You just don't know you have a problem.

Buy an AFPR if your going 255.

Yes, The 255 will overrun the stock fpr causing rich conditions during idle or part throttle.

FPR overrun can not be tuned out by an afc or the likes because the degree of overrun is a non-linear change.

There is a difference between running with no problem (though I question how you were able to determine that, logging?) and running optimally.

My fuel trims wend down and the ecu seamed to be able compensate well enough to keep me from running lean at idle and off boost throttle.
FPR overrun will make you run rich, not lean.

Buy an AFPR if your going 255.

Probably not but the only way to tell is to install a $30 filter mounted fuel pressure gauge so you can monitor the fuel pressure.

 For some reason.....i'd rather see stock injectors, upgraded pump, and an AFPR being used over aftermarket injectors, upgraded fuel pump, and stock FPR.
