can a boost contoller make a whistle noise?

ok i have seen alot of posts on this but they seem different then mine. i have no whistle when im driving or anything normally but when i get on the throttle at full boost i hear a loud whistle like a supercharger. it only happens at full boost and only after i installed my boost controller, the boost controller runs fine and the car runs good thats why im confused. could it be just that the its the boost controller making the noise or is something wrong?

Are you running more boost than before? Maybe your BOV is leaking if your running more pressure. What pressure are you running that you needed to crush a 1G BOV?

My mbc has a bleed hole and will whistle under boost. Mt 1g bov also starts whistleing after 5000 rpm at 18 psi boost. I would say it could be either one or both.
