Cams in a non turbo???????

I have been searching the forums and havnt found anyone putting performance cams in a non turbo? The thing is I love my dsm and am not thinkin of getting rid of it in the near futire but i would like to make a little more power out of it. I was thinkin about performance cams and shave the heads? Any opinions will be greatly appreciated

No one is doing it because it isn't worth the money. If you have a first gen n/t, swap a turbo head and ecu and become turbo . Should be able to get most of the parts for around 500-1000.

i'm looking to get a stock Turbo intake cam with a GM MAF and translator to tune the afr a little. I'm curious as to the difference that will make. I'm also not looking at getting a crap load of power just enough for a daily driver to make it more enjoyable.

The only difference between his head that he has now and the turbo head is the intake camshafts... He does not NEED a turbo head. He just needs a camhaft for the one he has and yes, people DO sell them... Or he could get one custom ground...

This has been discussed a bazillion times on this site if you were looking for more info...
