So I've been thinking of putting new cams in my car for some time now and was wondering what putting 272's in my car would do without any supporting mods. would it run right? would i gain a lot more power or just a few hp? would it run at all?

The afm should read the extra air and compensate for them, its super common for people to throw cams in na sr20's and they run fine with no tuning because the afm picks up the extra air flow, on a honda it would be a different story because that's speed density or actually a 420a 2g would be speed density also and that can't compensate and would need a tune. Also you won't get everything you can out of them without some tuning, it will work and run fine I'm sure but more power can be gain from tuning.
